Being forward

For those who have read my book, you may have noticed a theme. I wrote about leading forward, when you plan how to communicate and what to communicate ahead of time. You choose who you are going to be deliberately each day. I even made a deck of cards to remind you of this.

Then there is feed forward, which is a way to give feedback that shifts focus from what was done to what they would do the next time they had to do that. Smart really. It is an empowering form of mental rehearsal that keeps the relationship between the leader giving the feedback and their team member.

Lastly, there is Reflect Forward, which again shifts the person’s or leader’s attention to what they did well and what they would do if they had their time again. Brilliant really to get off the rollercoaster of self-judgment and onto the success train of moving your skills and expertise forward.

The Future self

The future is an important place to plan for, so I have created The Future Self Club.

This club will not be for everyone. In fact, it is for those who have a side hustle or business growth, ambitious people (including leaders or emerging leader) or those who want to invest in personal growth for themselves and want to get some momentum.

Free for now

Right now, it is free, and those who join now and interact in the group will be grandfathered in. That means when the group shifts to paid, it will still be free for you.

It is an experiment with my future self, who is calling me to do this thing, and introduce my 7 stages of living as your future self to be successful. If you are NOT into personal and professional development, this will not be for you.

It is not a pivot as I still do keynotes, workshops and coaching for organisations and businesses. Wellbeing and leadership are still my jam, and if you like the idea of learning more for lead forward, feedforward or reflect forward, DM me.

Think of the Future Self club as an expansion of what I do and for you it is space for you to get a relationship with who you want to become. And then be that person consistently.

The platform it is on is tricky to sign into as it sends a code, and then you have to close the screen you are in to get the code, then going back to the log in page, you need to start all over again. So log in on phone or computer and get the code on the other one so you don’t loose your page.

I have people who have just joined as they want to envision their retirement!

If you know someone else who would love this opportunity, send the link to them.

Warmly,

Michelle
